92% Recyclability!

Boeing 747-400September, 2011 - Over a ten day period our crew recycled a Boeing 747-400, 737-300 and McDonnell Douglas DC10-30 in Victorville, CA. Aircraft Demolition crews recycled over 400,000 pounds of aluminum, steel, titanium, copper wire, and other miscellaneous materials. By weight we recycled over 91% of the airplane material and less than 9% was put into landfills.

Just five years ago we started out at 68% recyclability and have been steadily rising towards our goal of 95%. We love recycling and hope one day we can achieve 100% recycling with airframes.
