WorthingtonTo Whom It May Concern:

Last year, Worthington Aviation embarked on a system wide project to identify slow-turning and obsolete inventory. The project required a review of large sections of inventory and included expendable, consumable, repairable, and rotable components. Once we had identified the targeted list of materials to be pulled, we contracted with Aircraft Demolition, LLC to help process and dispose of the inventory.

It was a substantial amount of material once everything was pulled and prepared for transport. Aircraft Demolition arranged for the transportation to their facility where they meticulously processed all the material. Components that had scrap value were separated and sold based on their precious metal content. We were very pleased with how smooth the project went.  The staff at Aircraft Demolition are very professional and experienced in dealing with aircraft teardowns and inventory scrap. Their timeliness and expertise in the field made a complex logistical project quite simple. We are going to be doing additional scrap projects in 2014 as well as potential aircraft teardowns and will definitely be using their services again.
