Who We Are
Aircraft Demolition provides complete on-site demolition recycling services for retired and damaged aircraft as well as part-out salvage and recovery. Aircraft Demolition is a quality and safety driven corporation that provides complete on-site demolition and recycling services for military, major airlines, insurance companies and leasing companies worldwide.
Aircraft Demolition was founded by Tim Zemanovic who identified a need to provide a more economical, convenient and environmentally "green" method to recycle retired or damaged aircraft.
Experience Matters
Tim Zemanovic has been a licensed airframe and powerplant mechanic for over 20 years with a focus on major structural repair. While working at AAR, Inc, United Airlines, and Northwest Airlines he was able to work on Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, and Airbus aircraft while gaining valuable experience. Tim also served as a classroom instructor for 5 years, training others on airframe/powerplant mechanics and safety training.
Aircraft Demolition crews are experienced and efficient in their specific areas of expertise. Safety and client satisfaction are Aircraft Demolition's top priorities.
“I just want to thank you for the excellent service Aircraft Demolition provided us with the recent demolition and recycle of a DC-9. Northwest Airlines is dedicated to protecting the environment, and that is why we are pleased to know that nearly 80% of the aircraft material was recycled, reducing the need for aircraft graveyards and the amount of material placed in permanent landfills."
